What's with this middleagedprodigy nonsense?

Well, I've been playing around with the hashtag #middleagedprodigy for a while and some friends kind of thought it was funny, so I plan to keep on using it. It's just my way of saying, "yes, I know I'm old, but I'm not done." I've been writing and playing music for a long time and I think I'm better now than I was 20 years ago (in fact, I'm sure of it). So while lots of spotlight get shined on the younger players, I'm here to say to my older brothers and sisters, "I respect what you do." Finding time and energy to create is way harder when you have the obligations and responsibilities as an adult, especially when you can spend hours and hours on a project, with limited 'financial encouragement'. So if you are an adult and STILL make art a priority, I'm here to remind you, 'never give up'.
