Dave Rudolph has been a active member of the Tampa bay music scene since 1994. He got his start on guitar at age 7 and then moved to the drums at age 11. Passionate about learning music, Dave has earned two degrees in Jazz Performance from the University of South Florida. He has appeared in shows at the Straz Center and works with various bands in the area including, The Valerie Gillespie Ensemble, Thick as Thieves, La Lucha, LaRue Nickelson, James Suggs, and his own group, The Dave Rudolph Quintet. Dave is also currently the Professor of Contemporary Percussion at the University of Tampa, the University of South Florida and Hillsborough Community College.
